My Story
I Know What It Feels Like to Start From Zero
When I decided to open my own family child care home, I had no roadmap. I spent hours searching for answers online, sorting through conflicting information, and trying to figure out what I actually needed to do — and in what order. The licensing process felt complicated, the paperwork was overwhelming, and I wasn't sure where to turn.
I got through it. I completed my training, prepared my home, submitted my application, passed my inspection, and opened my doors. I built my program, enrolled families, and learned what it really takes to run a successful California Family Child Care business.
Now I want to use everything I learned — the hard way — to make the journey easier for you. You shouldn't have to figure this out alone, and with the right guidance, you don't have to.
